Step 7

STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Starting your Advertising – Keep track of what you bought and when and results – how to track results

How to Buy Gtt’s – How to give away a set of GTT’s – How to share in the cost of Gtt’s

If you are doing any Ads besides GTT’s - How to add tracking to your advertising:

If you click on the link View Tour Takers in your AB Members Area you can see all the people who have
been through your site and taken the tour. You can also track what advertising they are from. You just
have to add a short code to the link your put in an Ad. You can see the instructions at the top of that
page of how to do this. They read as follows:

"Below are the people who have visited your website. You may sort on any column by clicking on its
header. The "GTT" column indicates a "Guaranteed Tour Taker". The Source column allows you to
create url tracking codes. Just add /?source= to the end of your url and any insert code you want. For
Example http://automaticbuilder.com/yourid/?source=123 . Anyone that took a tour using that link would
have “123” in the Source column."

So for my wife's AB site, the normal URL I would use is

          http://www.automaticbuilder.com/30951

Let's say, I started doing Pay Per Click using Google Adwords, and I wanted to know which tour takers
came from there, I would add to that so that the tracking URL looks like this:

          http://www.automaticbuilder.com/30951/?source=adwords

So that is the link I would only use in any of my Google Adwords ads.

Then when any tour takers from those ads come in, they will say "adwords" in the source column.

For Get Response I could use a URL like this....

          http://www.automaticbuilder.com/30951/?source=getresponse

So that way, for each kind of advertising I do, I have a unique web address to use that will track where I
am getting tour takers from. This way, I can see what is working best for me.
